HavenKept ("we," "us") makes interactive digital planners, free browser-based tools, and lead magnet services for creators, including the Lead Magnet Scorecard and the Guided Lead Magnet Fix Kit. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. It applies to havenkept.com and havenkept.github.io (together, "the Sites").
The short version: everything you type into our planners and most free tools stays on your device. We never see it. The Lead Magnet Scorecard is the exception: your answers are saved so we can show and send your results. We only collect your email address if you choose to give it to us or buy from us.
Planners and most tools stay on your device
Our planners and free tools (calculators, trackers, seating chart makers, and similar) run entirely in your browser. The budgets, names, dates, schedules, and other details you enter are processed on your own device and are not transmitted to us or stored on our servers. If you clear your browser data, that information is gone, and we have no copy of it.
The Lead Magnet Scorecard and Fix Kit
These work differently. When you take the Scorecard, your answers and score are saved to our database so we can show your results, email them to you if you ask, and load them into your Fix Kit on any device. If you ask for your results by email, your answers help us send emails that fit where you are, instead of the same emails to everyone.
Information we collect
- Email address (optional). Some free tools and freebie pages let you enter your email to receive a downloadable PDF or resource. If you do, we store your email along with which tool or freebie you requested.
- Order information from Etsy. Our planners are sold through Etsy. When you buy one, Etsy shares standard order details with us (such as your name and the item purchased) so we can fulfill your order. Payment is handled entirely by Etsy, so we never see your card details. Etsy's own privacy policy governs your purchase.
- Purchases through Payhip. Some products are sold through Payhip. When you buy, Payhip shares your name, email, the item and price, and whether you opted out of marketing emails at checkout. Payment is handled by Payhip and its payment processors, so we never see your card details.
- How you use our pages. On the Scorecard and Fix Kit, we record simple actions such as opening a page, finishing a step, or clicking a button. These are tied to a random code, not your name.
- Basic technical logs. Our hosting providers (Hostinger and GitHub Pages) automatically log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. We use this only in aggregate, if at all.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics on some pages to understand overall traffic: which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
- Advertising. The Scorecard and Fix Kit pages use the Meta Pixel, which tells Meta when someone visits, finishes, or buys, so we can measure and show our ads. When you buy a planner or sticker pack through Payhip, we send Pinterest a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email and the purchase so we can measure our Pinterest ads.
How we use your email
- To send you the freebie or resource you requested.
- To occasionally send updates about new planners, tools, and freebies.
- To send your Scorecard results, your Fix Kit link, and follow-up emails matched to your answers.
- If you buy from us, to send occasional emails about related products, unless you opted out at checkout.
- Our emails record when they are opened and which links are clicked, so we know which emails are useful.
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing always works with one click. We will never sell or rent your email address.
Where your information lives
Email addresses and Scorecard answers are stored in a secure hosted database (Supabase) and with the email service we use to send messages (Resend). These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers named above (hosting, database, email delivery, payments), with Meta and Pinterest for ad measurement as described above, or if required by law.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link in any message.
- Access or deletion: email us and we will tell you what we hold about you (usually your email address and any Scorecard answers) or delete it entirely.
Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR or California under the CCPA), you may have additional legal rights to access, correct, or delete your data. We honor such requests from everyone, regardless of location. Just ask.
Cookies
Our tools and planners do not require cookies to function. If analytics or the Meta Pixel is active on a page, that service may set its own cookies to distinguish visits; you can block these with your browser settings or a content blocker without affecting how the Sites work.
Children
The Sites are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us their email address, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
The Sites link to third parties such as Etsy and Pinterest. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy covers only HavenKept.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it here and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on the Sites.
